Just so you know : if you check the reverse DNS entry of the ip I gave you'll see that it's the right one.

Hi, I'm trying to limit some of the new commands like amx_unban, amx_list, to admins with level H on v4.4b10. For example, this is what I have:

Code:
register_concmd("amx_unban","cmdUnBan",ADMIN_LEVEL_H,"<steamID>")
	register_srvcmd("amx_unban","cmdUnBan",-1,"<steamID>")
	register_concmd("amx_find","amx_find",ADMIN_LEVEL_H,"<steamID>")
	register_srvcmd("amx_find","amx_find",-1,"<steamID>")
	register_concmd("amx_findex","amx_findex",ADMIN_LEVEL_H,"<steamID>")
	register_srvcmd("amx_findex","amx_findex",-1,"<steamID>")
	register_concmd("amx_list","cmdLst",ADMIN_BAN,"Displays playerinfo")
I changed the commands I want for ADMIN_LEVEL_H, but it's not working. My other admins are still able to process the commands and I checked their flags too. Can anyone help?

Well that is strange.
Are you sure you updated the .amxx file also?

[EDIT]
I just changed tham amx_unban command to ADMIN_LEVEL_H and removed the t-flag from my access. After that I could not unban.
BTW dont change this
Code:
register_concmd("amx_list","cmdLst",0,"Displays playerinfo")
That is for live bans and not for admins.

Can you post a changelog, I run version 4.4b9 and I didnt see anyother versions available and nobody was talking about this one. So I am curious if there is a difference between this and v4.4b10. The files were the same size.

I know what happened. When I upgraded from v4.4b9 to b10, I forgot to change it again. Sorry for the oversight. Thanks for your help.

I have looked at your questions now.

If you are using amxbans 4.4b10 and the new webfiles posted with the amxbans-4.4b9 banning on LAN is not a problem.
I just tried banning from the ingame menu, ingame console, server console and Live ban(Web). And it all works fine.

And there is nothing wrong with the function check_player as it checks if it is a steamIDban or an IPban.

If you have problems with players getting kicked during mapchange and a message that say they are banned. Then you probably have a bad row in your data base. Maybe you used amxbans 4.3 that did not support LAN 100%.

Hope that helps you.

BTW What have you set the cvar sv_lan to?
Do you have your server so you can connect it from the Internet?

First of all, thanks for your reply.

I have the latest version of web interface (b9) and amxbans.sma (b10).

Banning you were trying is probably working fine, but problem appears when someone is banned by hlguard (see http://forums.alliedmods.net/showpos...postcount=522).
Probably function locate_player do a bad job or parameter steamidorusername is wrong.
It is only a guess, because i don't have any experience with programming for amxmodx.

sv_lan is set to 0, because i want to connect from internet.

I think I solved all problems, but now all banning is based on IP address, so it's not possible to use it generally.

Also in some of previous posts, I was talking about "add live ban" not working properly (button kick&ban was disabled).
It is because you select all the admins from database based on STEAM_ID, so if admins on LAN server have STEAM_ID_LAN, and so all players on the server, I'am not able to ban anyone.

I would alse recommend you to change SQL select in add_live_ban.php on line 187
from
Code:
SELECT DISTINCT steamid FROM $config->amxadmins
to
Code:
SELECT DISTINCT steamid FROM $config->amxadmins, $config->admins_servers WHERE $config->amxadmins.id = $config->admins_servers.admin_id
so i'am not able to ban only admins of this particular server.

If my suggestions aren't right, don't get angry, I'am just trying to help you.
