1) all admin with level A can play sounds for me
2) i have wavs that are 1,5 MB and working fine
all you need is to follow instructions in readme what properties wavs must have
3) mp3 does work
you are doing something wrong

how are mp3's supposed to be listed in the config file? cuz I put this:

hate; misc/hateeverything.mp3

and it didn't work. Also one of the default sounds, the one that plays taliban.wav doesn't work. I unrared the sounds file and put them in a new folder then copied everything from that folder to the gameserver and my fast download server yet it doesn't download that file to me(I deleted all of the files from my folder to make sure it would download) but when I tried to run another sound rightaway since I didn't think it worked, it told me another sound was still playing, which means it's playing for people but not downloading any ideas why? And I checked and mp_sank_sounds_download is 1.

edit: it appears I didn't read far enough down on the readme file. I know why the mp3 wasn't working.

this is a rare bug and will be fixed

current fix:
use max 80 keywords OR
increase MAX_KEYWORDS inside sma

does this plugin ignore bots? cuz when the bots say one of the keywords, it doesn't play the sound clip

not really clear what you mean^^

and would be cool when you add in the first post that amxx 1.71 or greater is needed

i think he means that 2+8 = 10 and taht should be alive can play and hear sounds, but u wrote dead.

also, i get a runtime error for ur updated plugin.. i'm runing on 1.71 amxmodx and the plugin version is 1.50. I used the same cfg file as b4 but changed SND_SPLIT to SND_MODE as required and changed the value too. It seems that plugin only goes up to a certain points and just gives up reading the cfg file depending on line number in the cfg.

I also get this error with amxx 1.71:

Code:
L 07/02/2006 - 16:35:29: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "sank_sounds1.5.0.amxx")
L 07/02/2006 - 16:35:29: [AMXX] Run time error 11: divide
L 07/02/2006 - 16:35:29: [AMXX]    [0] phpWhjlzc.sma::get_mp3_duration (line 2017)
L 07/02/2006 - 16:35:29: [AMXX]    [1] phpWhjlzc.sma::parse_sound_file (line 1493)
L 07/02/2006 - 16:35:29: [AMXX]    [2] phpWhjlzc.sma::plugin_precache (line 415)
I have about 120 mp3's in the cfg - i increased the maxsounds to '#define MAX_KEYWORDS 180'.

doing a '/sounds' on the server just list's about 15 mp3's.
The old 1.4.7 worked fine.
