Config files, plugin files (not pause, just adding them) are pretty easy, I can do that with a plugin

I'm in! So if you guys decide to develop it using PHP, I could participate.

You could also bundle simple webserver with SourceMod instead of remote PHP controlling application.

I'm a PHP Freak...

I think this is a cool idea. I especially like the idea that someone had about using the MOTD for access if you're an admin.

That has ALOT of potential. For one.. could possible make the need for an In-Game menu not needed. If admins were able to access everything they needed in game via a web interface.. That's an awesome idea.

i vote NOT for mysql
rather for the built in sqlite in php5

This way configuration is a non issue for those servers that cant use mysql, but really want this ability (and can use php5).

maybe an option sqlite or mysql would satisfy both sides

But this is a killer feature for sourcemod and would rock so hard \m/

Can sqllite access the same database from multiple applications? How is locking handled? How do you do sqllite access from multiple machines?

The entire database is locked for writes? UGH. And you have to give up all readlocks for a writer to write? DOUBLE UGH.
