What if we keep it as type 3 but prevent it from being visible through the walls? Can't this be done in some way?

Hello professor, I tried 'Type 3', and it seems to be working fine, but I still don't want it to be visible through walls. Is there any way to fix this issue? You can take a look at the pictures below, it's the 'Type 2' problem.

No way with this plugin. Would have to rewrite a lot of stuff, clone all entities and check every sec if it is visible to client, still would glitch the glow between team changes.
I don't have time to implement all these stuff right now.

How to get a black halo? Even I set the RGB to 0,0,0, it isn't black.

"Black" is not a valid RGB glow color, so it's not possible, as it behaves more like transparent.

this is a simple plugin with a simple functionality, to help you find items scattered around the map! thanks to this plugin i was able to discover secret locations on custom maps, better locate items hidden by various particles and made my gamemplay better and more enjoyable. this is a plugin that is very self explanatory for those who don't like to waste time looking for things in empty places

For those interested: I created a bespoke plugin called 'Ping scanner' that I use on my game server, which works in tandem with Marttt’s plugin here. It's a modified version of my L4D1 plugin, which you can check out here at post 12.

The plugin emits a beacon ring that scans and highlights items for 10 seconds, it is activated by the 'F' (flashlight) key. Here's a quick video showing it in action:

As I'm only a rookie coder, it could do with some further refinement by a better coder. If anyone's interested in enhancing the script for community use, I'd be happy to share it via PM.
