I like this add-on, it's very nice and just what I needed.
You can have certain words replaced exactly as this other https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=235571 plugin does. "IT DOESN'T WORK"

Does this support regex on chat filtering or would that be too intensive?

I'm not a coder but looking at the code it seems like its only URL and IP that have filtering?

Currently no. You have to specify the words you want to block in the chatfilters.cfg file. Only the URL and IP filtering is done automatically using regex patterns.

Ok. One more thing, is it possible to make the chat filtering exact match? With patrial match you can have people get banned saying "night" for example haha.

Thanks for your suggestion. Maybe in the future I'll add that functionality. For now I'm no longer running servers or writing code. This plugin is still supported though, and I'm willing to fix bugs, if there are any.

Can you prevent gagged players from typing in team chat and global chat with sourcebans?

I suggest that if you have time for this, split plugin in modules, there are some features that are not needed for some people or they are done better by other plugins. Part that removes connection etc messages lacks a lot of features, like radio block, ping block etc... + you could use database to store blacklisted words.
