What I want is for a player to lose speed for a second after each jump, this exists in CS:GO, it is even in L4D but it only works on infected.

This is what I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/FE_SwUiin8I

If only there was a way to transfer that decrease in speed to the survivors when they jump.

You can do that OnPlayerRunCmd().

But i think you should give this a second thought as player may only want to have so fun after a long work.
Bunnyhop actually exist in l4d2 and you can easily find in youtube.

I really thought it use no scrip because speed runners use them. Like a map world record speed runner.

I think you did not understand me, what I want is not to take away the bunny hop, what happens is that they jump because they think that jumping they go faster, obviously it is not like that, and they do not know how to bunny hop, they just jump like crazy, in his mind I guess it's fine, that's why I just want to restrict the speed after the jump, that won't take away the ability to bunny hop, since it works differently than a normal jump.

I just want to find a way that they are not jumping in vain, and the functionality of CSGO is good, that when jumping leaves you a second of slowdown, in fact even in L4D there is that, but only for the infected, only they have that second of slowing down after a normal jump.

I don't know if there is a way to transfer that to the survivors.

Maybe you can check this plugin and adapt it to reduce the velocity.

https://github.com/kanade133/l4d2-pl...92%E4%BB%B6.sp

l4d_bunnyhop_multiplier => Multiplier: set the value multiplied to the lateral velocity gain for each successful bunnyhop.
