Hi! Anyone can explain what gamedata does and how it works? It's an amxmodx folder or? I deleted it by a mistake: amxmodx/data/gamedata.
I have my old server and I can't remember what this gamedata folder do and If I need it.
If you have it and you can upload for me, I will be thankful.

Isn't it easier to just go to AMXX's official website and download it according to your version?

The official downloads can be found here. If that folder doesn't exist in there then it's not required for AMX Mod X. If a custom, 3rd party plugin requires such a folder, it will either provided it with the plugin itself or it should create it (if needs to create files in it).

gamedata is an 1.9 feature so you should link to the dev builds download page, not 1.8.2

So far I have only ever used the official release on a regular basis. So, if a person know that a newer version has the extra data requested by the OP then said person could have posted a link . . .

For 101st time, there is no such thing as "official release", not with the meaning you intend. 1.8.2 is the latest stable release, even tho 1.9 is stable enough to replace the latter.

The "official release" is what's on the download page of the official AMX Mod X website. Granted, because AMX Mod X is so old (or rather the games that it supports are so old) that the community is much smaller than it used to be so it's more difficult to consider a beta/release candidate tested thoroughly for official release.
