So i have a problem that i ignored until now about my sv_maxspeed. I think the actual speed that i set (999.9) works but only by going forward + right/left. I tried to search for solutions to make it work by going only forward too but i didnt find anything related to my problem. Can anybody help?

You go faster by strafing, it's an engine quirk.

i didnt mean that lol

for example: you buy an item for more speed. lets say it gives you like 450 speed and then you want to try it to see how fast you go. then you notice that, by going forward, the speed is the same, but if you go left or right, the speed value is different.

thats not how i want it to work like. there's nothing else i could say about this

Of course there isn't when that is a client (cl) cvar. It's in your game, not the server.
