What is Slender Fortress Modified?
Slender Fortress Modified takes the public base created by Kenzzer and expands upon it by a long shot, stabilizing it for all servers including Windows and Linux. Both Slender Fortress and its Modified counterpart are a Team Fortress 2 gamemode based off the game Slender: The Eight Pages, following similar rules with new twists.
Differences between Slender Fortress 1.5.0, 1.5.1, and Modified
Actually 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 are extremely similar to each other where they both have a Nextbot AI that can chase players, but of course neither versions are stable in any way, shape, or form. Sometimes they can crash servers when they try to move, but spawning 7 bosses will cause the server to break down due to a for loop that gets all entities on a map ( 2048 ) and causes server instability. Both versions also lack customization from 1.0.0 and 1.5.0 + 1.5.1, really only a few new boss commands are added and very little noticeable changes to the current map gameplays. Setting up either version was simple, but frustrating to nail stability.
In Modified, this all changes. In this version, bosses are completely stable if you spawn 64 of them (Don't try that though). This also fixes boss jumping by a long shot, rather than taking their time jumping, they can just leap to the surface they're going for. This also adds 1 new mini gamemode some find a bit unfitting, others like it. This also adds tons of boss fixes and features, such as fixed stun cooldowns, the advanced damage effects, smiting players, an endless chasing AI, footsteps, and so much more. Setting up SF2 Modified is now a lot easier thanks to an up to date guide, issues can be addressed easily now, and much more updates to come in the future rather than stopping months later. Community suggestions and criticisms are now accepted to make the gamemode as faithful to the classic versions as possible, as well to give it a casual experience.
How can you play Slender Fortress Modified?
The rules of playing Slender Fortress Modified still apply if you were going for normal Slender Fortress, RED players get a set number of collectibles then either run to the exit, survive, or do whatever the map wants the RED players to do. You also have limited sprint and flashlight (Some maps use nightvision), managing them poorly can result in death by the bosses. In addition to this, you also have blink for the statue type bosses such as the Weeping Angels, SCP-173, etc. Some maps require you to survive for set number of time, others make you straight up run to the very end after grabbing a single collectible. To sprint, simply hold down your middle mouse button (You can also bind a key to +sprint), to activate your flashlight, simply right click, and to blink whenever you want to, press your reload key.
As for the BLU players, all you can do is wait until its your turn to play. But while you wait you can either watch the RED players by typing !slghost in the chat, or go into the PvP arena and fight other BLU players. Its like friendly fire. You cannot communicate with RED players unless a cvar called sf2_alltalk is set to 1.
How much more can you customize Slender Fortress Modified?
Well I'll tell you one thing, its more than SF2 1.5.0 and 1.5.1, and slightly less than 1.8.0 and above. You can make your own boss do all sorts of things, you can make them shoot rockets, move if you're not looking, have them hear from across the map, have a death screen whenever they catch RED players, have up to 8 attacks, the list goes on for a while. The simple idea is you can do whatever you want using the provided documentation found on the Github page (profiles_documentation). Theres also a tutorial on how to make the most basic boss using an example config, so give it a shot if you want to.
What kind of bosses are there?
Theres too many to explain, but this is the general idea of basically the common types.
Boss types
Static chaser
These bosses chase you slowly but build up static if you look at them or get close to them, a good example is Slenderman. Avoid touching these bosses, avoid looking at them for too long, and avoid staying close to them for too long as that results in elimination. Most of these static chasers don't chase you until they give up, they teleport often behind you then chase you for set number of time and then disappear without warning.
Statue
These are simple to explain, if you don't look at them or blink, they move. One thing they cannot do is move if they are around a corner like Unity SCP-173. But this doesn't apply to a general direction, so you have to be looking at them or go around a corner to not make them move. Good examples of these kinds of bosses are the Weeping Angels and SCP-173.
Chasers
The most common type of boss, the chaser. These guys can do whatever it takes to find you and kill you with whatever they have ready to throw at you, whether that'd be an attack, projectiles, static, anything really. Most of these chasers come with chase and alert musics, some even have visibility themes that only play if the boss and the RED player is visible, but only they can hear it and not anyone close to them. Examples of these kinds of bosses are Rake, the Grunts, the Suitors, Jaraxxus, Armless, and so much more.
Ranged chasers
These bosses can either shoot projectiles as you like rockets, grenades, sentry rockets, arrows, baseballs (WIP), Cow Mangler shots, fireballs, and iceballs. Most of the time they have a long ranged attack and not so much of a projectile attack they use whenever they're visible to RED players. Common examples of ranged chasers are Patrairch, Simon with the shotgun, and the Mobile Task Force guards.
Proxy masters
A bit uncommon, but these guys spawn proxies any time. A proxy is a BLU player that is tasked to kill the RED players, essentially serves as a human artificial intelligence helper. Usually these proxies do low damage but can be deadly in packs. Proxy masters aren't as fast as average chasers, but they are there to do good damage or instantly kill RED players if they get too close. Examples of proxy masters are Giant Zombie Soldier and Snatcher.
Thats cool and all, but how does the game spice up?
In Slender Fortress Modified, there are these rounds called special rounds, which occur every 5 rounds by default (Or 3 sometimes). There are currently 38 special rounds that can occur, each having a unique effect.
Special rounds

SURPRISE ME! - Fingers crossed!: A special round is chosen blindly, nobody knows what it is when its selected. LAST RESORT - Better give it your all now!: Once all collectibles are collected, a new boss spawns. Escape Tickets - Get one, get out alive.: Once you pick up a collectible, you immediately escape. SPECIAL ROUND VOTE - Vote for the special round to put into play.: Red players get to choose the special round. COFFEE! - Sprint length increased, but regeneration decreased.: As it states. ITEM DETECTORS - Personal Page Detectors!: RED players know where the closest collectible is. CLASS SCRAMBLE - Everyone changes class on page pickup.: As it states. SILENT SLENDER - More survivors, yet more bosses on silent!: Doom box on crack, double the players, 4 new bosses, difficulty sets to Hardcore. PAGE REWARDS - Get a reward or get punished!: Once you grab a collectible, you get a random effect. TINY BOSSES - Bosses size is reduced by 4!: All bosses scaled are multiplied by 0.25. IN THE 90s - Run for your life!: Everyone runs at a speed of 520, bosses that run a speed under 520 runs at a speed of 520. TRIPLE BOSSES - Triple the bosses, triple the death!: Takes the current boss count list and multiplies it by 3, so if its 4 bosses, its 12. MODified Bosses - You like pain and suffering? We got you!: Removes all bosses and adds a random MOD boss if one is available, if none are available, this special round will not be picked and cannot be found on Special Round Vote. BOSS ROULETTE - An RNG rigged version of Russian Roulette.: Adds a new boss every time a page is picked up THANATOPHOBIA - The fear of death.: Every time someone on RED dies, a random negative effect is inflicted to all RED players. WALL HAX - You can see the bosses through the walls!: Player outlines and boss outlines are shown at the cost of the difficulty getting set to Insane. SINGLE PLAYER - Playing by yourself...?: Everyone is now invisible and you are not able to hear them, even in chat and voice chat.
Along with these special rounds, whenever night vision is enabled, you can get random night vision types. These types being the generic green night vision, a red night vision that has infinite battery, and a blue one that allows you to see bosses through walls yet the battery is half than normal.
How can I set up this plugin then?
You can pick up the versions found on the Github page, a wiki that gives you the information about SF2 Modified, and how to set up the plugin. More information about how this gamemode works can be found over there, as well as public content I provided from New Versions and I had in store for a while.
Special thanks to:
KitRifty: The original Slender Fortress gamemode and for recently fixing the sniper rifles
Kenzzer: The 1.5.0 base
Demon Hamster Eating my Wafflez: Being heavily supportive, providing the first server of SF2 Modified, and even being a good bug reporter
The Gaben: For starting SF2 Modified
Dookster: The ideas where some of SF2 Modified's functions come from
Server owners of SF2 Modified (Demon Hamster, Munt, Diviously, Fire, KanP, Nameless The Nue Producer, SAXY GIBUS MAN, and Nekomata): Adding the early access versions of SF2 Modified to their servers
And anyone else who contributed to SF2 Modified in any way

I have someone who had a similar issue but was able to solve the issue, will see if the alternate Navmesh download is the same as to what he got as a fix. I already fixed the CollisionHooks issue and crashes to the 9-way animations, so we'll see what kind of fix the Navmesh plugin has to get, just have to wait for that second alternate download.
Hello again,I have another question on it,
I have downloaded Required content (Hyper Snatcher boss included),
But I can't find Hyper Snatcher boss cfg in the zip or profiles.cfg,
can you tell me where can I find the cfg? thank you~

Hyper Snatcher can be found in addons/sourcemod/configs/sf2/profiles.cfg once you downloaded the whole plugin pack. Bundled in that file is Slenderman, the Weeping Angels, Rake, and Hyper Snatcher. Make sure you open the cfg file with Notepad++ if you want to add new bosses on the core pack or edit any cfg file. If you did download a version of Modified before 1.5.4 (I think that version), you're gonna have to get the config from the Github main plugin page, look in the same directory and just copy everything from profiles.cfg on Github and paste it in your profiles.cfg if nothing but Slenderman, Weeping Angels, and Rake are in there.
