Why whould you?

1000fps means that every server frame is 1ms excatlly, which is the best you can get with goldsrc engine

Sounds like you'll have to play a more modern game that supports such a thing.

My servers also have over 6753 fps

PHP Code:
HLDS Minimum requirements1.8GHz CPU and a minimum of 512MB of RAM

The more plugins
fps, and occupied slots the higher the CPU usage will become

HLDS really needs 1000fps or less, anything more is just resource dependent and redundant in such an old game. Have you had any benefits exceeding 1000fps?

This is useful to a certain extent, but I ask, why exceed your server fps above 1000 fps when the average player uses roughly 100 fps (in this game) and anything above is pointless. Could you elaborate on any benefits using this?

Adding this for reference, pretty spot on: https://steamcommunity.com/discussio...08662495496315
