Still doesn't work after all of that.

Also, apparently, the port things you told me to put into server.cfg should have been put into the autoexec.cfg, only then did it work.

yes, autoexec.cfg get executed first, before first map start. And it work once.

Maybe we need focus your port forward or somekind firewall.

Shutdown all your dedicated servers and start only your TF2 game, lets try listen server.
Launch game with console open.

When you are at menu, don't create server. Type this command line in your console and hit enter.
sv_lan 0; map cp_dustbowl
- This will start server

Type status, give your friend public IP:port to connect. Don't give LAN IP (192.168.1.22)
connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port

Can your friend connect ?

Then we need look other things.

Nope, they cannot join even when I do that, sadly. Does that mean that maybe my port-forwarding is a little off?

Edit : Even Hamachi doesn't do much

What is your router model and type ?
Are you connected to router with cable or WiFi ?

I am connected to router with Wi-Fi, but can connect to cable if need to be.
Model is TL-WR740R, and idk what you mean by "type"

Version is 4.24, tho, if that is needed.

If you need screenshots of what I set-up in the firewall, and in the router settings (Which ports I opened) just ask, and I will try to make a imgur album with those.

Can you show your steam name (or profile) so I can make friend request, otherwise this is slow progress to help through forum posts. I'm not sure I can solve the problem tough
