This plugin allows you to set a specific maximum run speed regardless of weapon in hand (or none at all). No more editing script files or setting speed by weapon class names. This is great for bhop/surf servers, and is well paired with sv_accelerate_use_weapon_speed 0.

    Requirements:
    DHooks

    Installation:
Drag the contents of the archive into your /addons/sourcemod folder, and voila! runspeed.games.txt should end up in your gamedata folder, and runspeed.smx will be in your plugins folder.

    ConVars:
    sm_rs_enabled - 1: plugin enabled (default); 0: plugin disabled
sm_rss_playerspeed - Maximum runspeed for players (250.0 default)

Now imagine a config that each weapon in your backpack reduces your speed regardless equipped or not.

You can run from a bombsite and survive it by dropping your awp and picking it later after round end.
