What you saw was not an ad itself. MotdMod video player has a playlist of our own curated gameplay footage that we rotate so that the ad is "in-stream." Without any video content, ads would be whats called "outstream" and perform poorly.

Preroll ads display before video content when the ad request is filled.

A planned feature is the ability for users to upload their own custom video content

Is it possible to add a chat commands like !motd or !ads in CS:GO for people who wants to contribute to the server revenues?

P.S. Great ads plugin, brilliant idea to incorporate a functional welcome message and ads into one, as well as customisable MOTD, hope to have a own-design-MOTD in the future. Love it so far!

We have worked on a workaround that re-enables the !motd chat command so that it is functional in CS:GO. This feature will come in the next release, with some limitations.

Regarding support for other games that were requested:

These games (for example L4D2 or GMOD) use a very old web browser version to load the motd page and currently it breaks the custom themes. Its taking longer than expected to modify our themes to support the older browsers. We are working on it!

Since you made a desktop client, might as well add in remember password or automatic login. Having to type the password every time to just to view the stats is a hassle don't you think?
