Does the AMX BAN option have compatibility with AMXBans ??
or could that be implemented please?

It uses amx_ban and amx_banip commands only. It would be easy to implement AMXBans since you would just need to modify the command.

I assume so since it's relatively basic as far as functionality--I wouldn't foresee any steam updates breaking it. I have not run a server in years so I have no first hand experience. Can anyone weigh in on whether or not this is still working?

It's still working but not as effective as it used to be.

Nobody is excluded, IMO why should any player have immunity from this.

I don't see how effectiveness would wear off, maybe less people are cheating. Also, the configuration values (cvars) might just need tweaking. I may make a configuration plugin which will help set these values realistically. However, it would only be effective it there is nobody cheating when monitoring.
