I am using version 1.71 on windows platform. It is working fine. Plugins are
statsme (for psychostats), csnadedrops, and gore effects. When I upgraded to version 1.71 I found this problem. I am not sure where it is configured and is probably a very simple fix.

The on death stats display that shows up in the right corner showing your attackers and victims seems to be double. Like two different things are posting the information. Some times it is double some times it is not. I have attached a sample of what the problem looks like.

I have only noticed this problem with the new version. I do see in stats.ini there is two instances of ShowStats. Maybe this is the problem. File says not to modify though. I follow the rules

Try disabling PsycoStats. And tell me what happens.

no diabling the psychostats2_pip did not resolve the issue. I still get it. Also the %acc only shows up every once and awhile too. Something must be feeding the same info. as I said in my stats.ini file I have the following:

Should there be 2 showstats in there?

Nope, there is your problem, erase the second one, and shutdown and restart. Your problem should then be fixed.

ok cool thanks. It said not to modify it so I didn't want to go messing with things.

bah removed that line and and still having the issue. I verified that I am not only one too. Others on the server have the issue.

ok did some testing. I found that commenting out all these lines fixed the issue

ShowAttackers ;Show Attackers
ShowVictims ;Show Victims
ShowStats ;HUD-stats default

just commenting out showstats did not. but as long as showattackers and showvictims was commented out there was no problem EXCEPT on death the victim area did not display a accuracy percentage. So I am not sure what these lines do but if they are all commented out there is no double display. But no acc%. No biggie but would be nice to solve the little mystery. Let me know what you want to try next. I don't mind testing stuff.

The problem comes with the "S" of "hit(s)". Check it out carefully, and you'll understand ;).
