Since Sven Co-op uses a new sound engine, all sounds in the map need to be in the 'soundcache' file. This is done by just precaching them, but AMXX's plugin_precache() gets called after the soundcache file is generated.
The sounds will be distributed to players, but they won't play because they are not cached in the sound system.
Sadly I do not know any method to make this work, unless precaching the sounds using Angelscript and then developing the AMXX plugin, but you're better off just using Angelscript.
mp3 play and
spk do not need this, that's why plugins like Sank Sounds work.
