Hey, does anyone have the latest beta version successfully compiled because http://csgottt.com/hosties/ seems to be down and I am no good at compiling myself. I could really use the latest version since both no scope and shot 4 shot is broken in mine, so a helping hand would be greatly appreciated.

First of all let me say that i love your work and this post is not meant as a hostile post. but your guide is complete shit! sorry for saying it but it is the truth. i have extensive knownladge in sourcemod but have never had to compile it as it was allready done for me. when i readed your guide i first got stuck at step 4. that step shoud be broken into more steps explaining how to open cmd up and how to use the cd command! i know this might be common knownladge for a skilled coder like you, but alot of poeple on the internet dont know that. with much anger and tears i managed to start the compiler but it diddent work it seems like emitsoundany is bugged

Here is the Step 4 that you say is "shit":

4. Compile sm_hosties.sp in the folder (Windows: cmd prompt window and navigate to addons/sourcemod/scripting and then "compile sm_hosties.sp")

There's no elaboration needed.. they don't need to know how to cd or anything. They could navigate to the folder in Windows Explorer and have it open up a command prompt. My guide is just that, a guide, it's not a step-by-step instruction manual for someone unfamiliar with Windows. If you'd like to make a step-by-step guide for Windows 10 with screenshots then go for it. I expect people to be able to follow Step 4 and if they don't know then supplement the Internet or youtube for information on how to complete Step 4.

As to your issue with emitsoundany, if the file is actually in the right location then check the file permissions or try running the command prompt as an Administrator.

it dosent help to run it in admin. i am 100% sure that the 3 includes is in the right folder. also when i use this web compiler https://spider.limetech.org/ i also get the same error

I just did it from the guide using the latest stable SM 1.8 and didn't receive any errors. How did you use https://spider.limetech.org/ ?? There are several files which are not include files but they are still required in order to compile. These are covered in Step 2 of the guide and located in addons\sourcemod\scripting\hosties\*

You can't use spider.limetech.org without modifying the source code. I double checked and modified the #include <hosties/.> lines and was able to successfully compile this on spider.limetech.org, so something is going quite wrong with some of these steps. If you write up a step-by-step procedure on what you did then I can point out where it went awry.
