This could potentially create drastic lag due to connection rates and client side actions. But yes, it is an option.

If you teleport them with velocity instead of position, it will be much smoother

so then what's the best (and optimized) option?

use SetParent or constantly tele them?

I can always constantly tele them but I'm assuming I always have to use the Parent's velocity?

Wouldn't I have to constantly update it via PreThink?

Plus I'm also worried about making them "get off" because I don't want them flying via from the Parent's original velocity when they hit the button to get off xD

When they hit the button you can set the velocity to 0.

Ok, I tried out friagrams method and it works nice but the problem is that players can be detached if I'm moving too fast :/

That's another problem regarding server side teleporting. You could every once in a while teleport the target to the player's origin to ensure that they are not drifting. But maybe you should attempt the setparent method.

Alright, I'll attempt it. I'll be back with the results.

alright, I tried out the SetParent method and worked NO DIFFERENTLY than Friagrams method of just applying the Parents velocity to the Child...

nvm i drped with testing.

I did the SetParent method but it wouldn't let me move while the other player was piggybacking on me.

Make sure you make the child player non-solid.
