I don't know if it is already mentioned but in CSGO , mapchooser plugin , does not behave as expected according to:

Code:
// Specifies how many past maps to exclude from the vote.
// -
// Default: "5"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
sm_mapvote_exclude "10"
It just does not follow this command and I see the same maps at every mapend or rockthevote votes again and again!!! Any fix?

MapChooser may have... issues... with workshop maps, depending on which names you're putting in your map lists.

Edit: I've already done work addressing this with fuzzy map names, but it hasn't been accepted as a change to SourceMod yet.

If it's happening for ALL maps, then it's an issue that needs to be looked into,

I myself have never seen this problem. As Powerlord said if your using base map names in your map lists it could cause problems with workshop maps... I look forward to some fuzzy name/workshop work tho, thanks powerlord!

I have setup SM to read all the maps from mapcycle.txt from "addons/sourcemod/configs/maplists.cfg" and the names of maps in this mapcycle.txt , most of them are from workshop, is the simple name , not the whole "workshop/id/name" , is that the issue?

Strange is that I have the mapconfigs.smx for special cfg per map and the names of those cfg are just map.cfg , not workshop/id/map.cfg and it works perfectly.

The whole problem is that at every vote , I see previous maps that had been played on the server , even though "sm_mapvote_exclude" is set at "cfg/sourcemod/mapchooser.cfg"

Yes.

Previously played maps are stored by their full name (i.e. the output of the currentmap command as hamilton5 showed above). For workshop maps, this is "workshop/id/name".

So, when MapChooser or Nominations looks for previously played maps when generating the map vote/nominate list, it doesn't realize that de_shift and workshop/126373930/de_shift are the same map.

I've submitted a change to the core, MapChooser, and Nominations (and a few other places that deal with maps), but the SourceMod devs are apparently still discussing adding the function that resolves "fuzzy" names (like workshop short names) to their full names in SourceMod so that plugins can get this name.
