    GameUI Crash Fix

    Prevents a server crash when maps are using game_ui entities. More information about the crash can be found in the original thread.

    If your game is missing from the gamedata file, you can probably add it yourself from SDK Tools. Otherwise let me know here and I'll add it to the zip.

    Installation:
    • Install DHooks2. Make sure any previous versions of DHooks 1.0 are removed first.
    • Extract gameuifix.zip to your SourceMod directory.

    Yeah,

    The issue appears on windows servers aswell. If your hosting server with maps that use game_ui it'd be quite quite userful, since it saves your server from crashes afterall

    Couldn't you just load the appropriate sdktools gamedata file?

    SourceMod's gamedata files could change at any time, which is why they recommend not loading theirs directly.

    Is there a way to find out if our server crashes because of game_ui? I'm not sure if my server crashes are related

    The usage of your plugin on ze_harry_potter_v1_3 map cause a server crash.

    As I found out the server is crashing when map removes several game_ui entities.
    You can check it on 3rd stage of ze_harry_potter_v1_3 map. Server crash appears after everybody got teleported to the blue circle from the Kwidich arena. Probably you will need to take a broomstick...

    Hey,

    I love this plugin, but I have an issue. This deactivates game_ui, and that works just fine; however, none of the PlayerOff outputs are triggered. When the player jumps or uses +use, PlayerOff is triggered. This plugin does not do this, but it makes sure that game_ui is deactivated. I'm not familiar with SP; is there any chance you can have PlayerOff triggered on death and disconnect?
