Ok i was wondering if it was possible to put 2 plugins together which would be:
http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=4356
http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=17708

I have heard connect sound work and its a great plugin but i think it would be nice with the radio playing on server connect. HL Media player plays radio and on mapchange the radio keeps playing untill the motd is loaded which turns the radio off. This was my idea anyway but i cant code so was wondering if it was possible and if somebody wanted to have a go at it

As always many thanks in advance all

It would be nice for servers with big map / mod downloads, nice music hopefully means people will wait. Also adds interest to the server. I know i could just add music but radio is always better, latest music by itself. Also if you add music the person has to download it also were i just want to stream radio.

This might not even be possible, but hopefully somebody takes up the challenge

To combine those two plugins functions together would clash. Explanation...

Loading sound plugin executes the command mp3 play on client during connect to server.
Everytime.

HLMP streams the file.

During map change, if a player is already streaming a file through HLMP, the file will continue to play, and the loading sound will start.

For that time that the player is connecting, they will have two sound files playing over one another which will make it hard to hear either one. Depending on the time of your loading sound files, it should only be about 30 - 45 seconds of sound, but it does get annoying when two files are playing over each other.

You would have to try to figure out how to stop the motd from showing up on the new mapchange( If its possible ). Also, you would have to try to figure out on mapchange if a person is already streaming a file and if they are, stop the mp3 play command from executing on map change.

Never thought of that, if somebody was already listening to a song on mapchange having 2 songs play at once, still a good idea as a stand alone plugin were there is no music mods already.
