As for crashes, take a look into your ttt logs, does it really crashes because of that? I added more logs in 2.5.x version, so that it will log the the use of DNA scanner. It will under LOG_MISC. Basicly what you are looking for is to check if when player scanned someone, ~next log message is changemap or something like that.
Oh nice, that will be really good to know if is it the DNA Scanner the problem, i'm pretty sure that maybe is the scanner because, when the server crash, some players report me to be using the scanner in the exactly moment when it down, but as u said i haven't any log to proof that, just witness that said that to me, but thanks for u answer i'll be waiting for next release then
