Hello,
So I don't know if people are looking too much into making L4D1 plugins anymore, but I'm just trying to finish a sort of custom balance mod based on SM plugins. Because as much as I love that game, it has horrible vanilla balance which makes it rather unenjoyable at times.

Here are 3 missing components for request:

1) Reserve ammo changer - to some custom value. The closest I could find to this on the sight and that was compatible with L4D1 was https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1072446. Pretty much this mod without the random timed variation.

2) Single Player melee fatigue. L4D1's single player and multiplayer COOP don't have survivor melee fatigue. Perhaps this can be added? Again, there was a mod like this in the site plugins area, but it is not for coop or single player.

3) Turn the med-kit into pills (I don't mean it literally). Just to make med-kit be pills-like: with following specific changes

- Med-kit can only add temporary health like pills
- can enable if it does or does not remove black and white screen when near death
- turn pills into either a weaker form that gives less of a temporary health bonus to compensate

I am more a mapper, not a modder so yeah

You should read a bit more

1)
the plugin you linked above have cvar !
l4d_smgammo_min
l4d_smgammo_max
l4d_rifleammo_max
l4d_rifleammo_min
l4d_huntingrifleammo_min
l4d_huntingrifleammo_max
l4d_shotgunammo_min
l4d_shotgunammo_max
Set min and max at the ammount you want and the random won't be that random anymore.

2 & 3.... I may scripted them, good idea.

1) that's embarrassing on my part...

BUT, I notice that it does take a while for the ammo values to update in-game when you change them, and the plugin doesn't automatically generate a cfg file. Perhaps it can be made to update immediately when new values are input instead of act on a timer and make it so that it generates a cfg file for the l4d cfg directory so that it can be tweaked outside of game just so that I don't have to manually type in the values every time the game is booted.
