Well no The plugin leaks appear while running a map not while chaning it

It happens for both plugins TF2BWRR And Bot controll And thats why the plugin keeper has been writed for to auto reload it on crash

This.

It is time to start using TF2IDB. TF2ItemsInfo is already getting killed before loading all the items due to the watchdog timer and it is only going to get worse.

You are going to have to do it eventually unless you want your plugins to stop working.

TF2ItemsInfo cannot be fixed.

TF2ItemsInfo cannot be fixed.
Or we can use Friagram's extension which works entirely in sourcepawn.

Or we can not use tf2itemsinfo and write our own parser (since items_game.txt is ultimately a keyvalue file). In the case of TF2 BWR (Michal's, Leornado's, Benoist's plugin), they don't need all the offerings of TF2ItemsInfo. They only need it to get the weapon class of an item (e.g. "tf_weapon_minigun"), which can also be obtained directly from items_game.txt itself (and parsed into an adt_trie). They don't need any data on hats or cosmetics (bar gatebot hats). So purposely ignore the thousands of miscs Valve has put in the game, and suddenly the data needed from items_game.txt is much smaller. This also applies for the give weapon plugin.

Take only what you need, not what you don't need. (Inspired from asherkin from here.)

There are other alternatives. [For once I agree with Michal.]

You people hard-code in the attributes to the robots anyway. Just hard-code in the natural attributes in with the other hard-coded shit.

TF2Items is used to spawn wearables and weapons, not tf2itemsinfo. I know because in Leornardo's old tf2bwr version, I completely got rid of tf2itemsinfo and everything worked beautifully (this was a year ago).
