(I would code it myself, but I have to learn stuff about coding for SourceMod and it's kinda hard for me)
I need a bank plugin, like
this, but for other mods and doing a different task.
This is what
I was thinking about (while putting in italic those things that may not be neccesary):
- You are given a starting amount of money the first time the plugin recognizes you. Can be disabled
- You get or lose money by fulfilling certain actions (grabbing the briefcase, capping a point, killing someone, changing a class, whatever, what are the most used actions?) and stores it in the bank. Can be configured, to change how much money for what action.
- You get money the first time on a day you enter the server (daily money). Can be modified.
- The plugin does not give you a little extra via the interest thing.
- You can transfer money to other players, and they have to accept it to receive it.
- You can open a menu showing a set of commands one can configure in a file which you can pay a price to use them (like resizing the player for $1, getting health for $500, just examples) and letting everyone buy these unless stated otherwise (flags?).
-
In conjunction with the previous point, you can buy more than 1 at once.
-
In conjunction with the previous point, these can have a configurable timer so once the timer runs out it is disabled, either by reusing the command (some plugins uses commands that act like toggles) or by executing another one.
- Admins can (naturally) set, add or remove money.
-
Admins can check how much money does a player have, via a menu, a command...
-
You can buy a command for someone else using your money (but they have to accept the "gift" before a timer runs out of time).
-
In conjunction with the previous post, either a chat message, a center message, a menu message or something will warn you about the gift and that you should accept if you want. The menu one is way more visible.
-
(maybe drop money on the floor and making an entity for that purpose so someone that steps on it gets the money dropped)
-
Apart from "buying commands", you can store it in some sort of "inventory" (menu) which you can later open with a command showing all the commands you stored, for later use. That would be nice, but I think coding that is quite hard.
-
In conjunction with the previous point, you can gift one of these commands to someone.
- Every thing here should be able to be modified with a CVar or a configuration file. The latter is preferred.
-
Most of the things should be able to be done using a menu for ease, like the plugin linked before where you go to transfer money and you are shown "X value, another value, free input".
Most of the italics are ideas I got while writing them, so I don't see the point on doing that, heh. I'm quite imaginative.
That's all I need. I would do it myself but again, I have to give Pawn a try.
Please?
