Hello. As some of you may know, I wanted to change the sound for "mvm_mission_complete" which failed because I don't know how to do it and I don't think others know how to. Anyway, I want to know if anyone knows how to add music to maps. I'm not talking about custom maps, I played on an MvM server a few months back that had unique music on valve maps (mvm_coaltown, mvm_bigrock, ect.) which also looped. The only thing I had to download was the sound files. I checked download>maps and there were no custom maps from his server. Does anyone know how to add music to maps? I would really like to add some soundtracks to coaltown, ghost town and others .

This would have to be done by a SourceMod plugin. It can hook onto events such as "mission completed" and play sound files accordingly.
I'd suggest heading over to the SourceMod Plugins section of the forums here.

I haven't checked, but it's just as likely to be a teamplay_broadcast_audio event that needs to be blocked / replaced with your own sound. This event is how regular map win/lose sounds are played in TF2.
