Quick question, does l4d have a limit of 5 specials at a time on coop mode without this plugin? I ask this because if I set the following without plugin, the game slows down to a crawl when the specials spawn in coop mode.

z_gas_limit 3
z_exploding_limit 3
z_hunter_limit 3

But if I edit those values to add up to 5, the game runs fine when the special spawn, but if they add up to 6 or more, the game is almost like being underwater in slow motion. What does this plugin do to get around this from happening? I would like to avoid using the plugin if possible to have 3 specials of each spawn in coop mode.

How is the last one the bad one? Shouldn't it be the second one since 6+6=12 goes over the max 4 specials limit?

Hi

If 1, only admins can join the infected team in coop/survival
If 1, players can join the infected team in coop/survival (!ji in chat to join infected, !js to join survivors)

I can not find any reference to this in the .sp

Apart from the convar's for version and spawn limits for specials, these are the only convar's available:
l4d_infectedbots_max_specials
l4d_infectedbots_spawn_time_max
l4d_infectedbots_spawn_time_min
l4d_infectedbots_director_spawn_times
l4d_infectedbots_coordination
l4d_infectedbots_lifespan
l4d_infectedbots_initial_spawn_timer
l4d_infectedbots_ghost_time
l4d_infectedbots_spawns_disabled_tank
l4d_infectedbots_adjust_spawn_times

I have not used this plugin in a long time so if unless your using a modified version that gives this function, sorry to bother you.

On the modders post 1 he says to download l4dinfectedbots.txt gamedata file, but there is no link to this.
Does anyone have a copy of this file they could share or is this file no longer required.

Maybe he is using a previous version that still has that feature... I think the biggest feature of this plugin is that feature that let you join the infected team on coop mode...

It would be awesome if someone might take the previous versions and keep updating them.
On some pages back there are the versions 1.9.8 (which should be the most updated with that feature, and i personally used the 1.3.x which is a bit outdated)

See some pages back if you can find them... If not i'll be re-update them when i'll be home.

i also use 198 version from Marcus101rr on post no#1320
