Last step in installing 1.6 server, fucks up.

Okey I'm in the last setup process to get my server to run.... All I need to do is type : ./steam -command update -game cstrike

And I've done it.... but then i get, Checking bootstrapper version ...
Getting version 50 of Steam HLDS Update Tool

followed by....update failed, please run "tar xzUf LinuxHldsUpdateTool_50.pkg" to install the latest steam binary

And i tried to run it, but It cant mange to find it. I'm all out of ideas. Help to fix this would be gladly appreciated. Im so tired of this shit.

I'm running xubuntu.

You need to use SteamCMD, not HLDSUpdateTool

Really? Then what should the exact command be, so It install it to the hlds folder?

Since i used to steamcmd to get app 90, I got the hlds folder, then I downloaded the hldsupdatetool.

And now i should use the cmd to get cstrike?

Also I got the updatetool50 in my app90(hlds) folder, but I can not open it.

App 90 is HLDS+CS. If it didn't download everything on the first time, run the same command again (this is documented on the Valve's Dev Wiki)

It might just work! It's downloading alot more files this time. So I do not need hldsupdatetool or anything like that now? Or do I still need to download that ?

SteamCMD replaces the need for HLDSupdatetool so you should be good.

HLDSUpdateTool is effectively dead as the Content Delivery Network it used no longer exists... Valve took it offline a few months ago.
