This plugin seems simple enough to create, but i'm not familar with SourcePawn what-so-ever (I know Java and C++), so i'm looking for help with this plugin.

Dynamic Polls
Features:
  • Uses Custom Voting to poll players in game
  • Outputs the answers to an SQL database (mysql or sqlite)
  • Tracks player steam ID's (only one ID can vote per poll)
  • Custom length of polls

In short, I want to the plugin to get the clients STEAMID and store it in the database, and then store their answer to the question shown to them on connect. So when they connect the plugin gets their ID, sees if it is in the DB, if it is it won't ask the question, if it's not then the plugin asks the question. The question will stay up for X days (cvar).

I want to make changes to my server, but I want the players to tell me if they want them or not, this is my way of doing it, asking the players directly ingame is the best way to do it, when the next poll starts, the ID's all start fresh.

Any help / ideas / tips are more then welcome.

Bumping this request.

We've tested the MySQL Polls plugin (linked below), but are experiencing the same lag other server operators have complained about. Is there anyone who would be willing to pick this plugin back up, optimize it, and make it threaded by chance?
