Description:

By default, when a player dies, he does not drop the pistol if there's a weapon in slot1.
And only one of four grenades is dropped, with the order of priority: hegrenade -> flashbang -> smokegrenade.

This plugin allows players to drop weapons including primary, secondary, knife, all 4 grenades, reserve ammo and armor on death.

There is no extra model for dropped ammo. You only need to walk through a weapon on ground, and if it matches the weapon you own, your reserve ammo will be filled out.

great, some suggestions:

1. Default sound should be i think defuse kit sound, its same as buying armor on spawn, if i remember right, and make option for who will hear it (all, only player or nobody).

2. Make option in cfg for team kill drop and suicide, so if teammate kills teammate it will not drop and it will not drop on suicide (afk, slay...)

3. Make option for random amount of armor picked up, like in healthkitfromdead plugin, example: i will choose 5-25 AP in config, so player will get between 5-25 AP when picked up armor. Basicly it will be not needed to drop exact armor amount of dead player but only drop item with random or exact number of gaved AP (armor points). Make option to choose random from number to number and exact number or armor (for example it will give 25 AP all the time or so). And make option for max received AP, again like in healthkitfromdead plugin, that player can pick up armor but for example in config will be set to max 75 AP, so player cant get full body armor again in round, if you know what i meen

4. And last one that will be nice, again like in healthkitfromdead plugin, make message in chat, hint window, which will say something like: You picked up Body Armor + 17 AP.

Hm for now its all from me, i like this idea for droping armor so hope you will make it even better

Thanks for the suggestions, relicek.

1. Changed the deault sound for picking up armor to ammopickup.wav.
2. I want to keep this plugin close to the real world. No matter who's the killer, as long as a player dies, items should be dropped.
3. v3 added another cvar (sm_drop_armor_depreciation) to let users configure what percentage they want to be left from the remaining armor.
4. I think sound is enough to notify players something has changed.
