Hi,

I plan to build something on top of Counter Strike 1.6 scoreboard.
I need to know if counter strike 1.6 scoreboard can be accessed outside the game memory, I mean is it stored in some kind of file or something?

This is the first time, I am developing something for CS.

Any ideas are appreciated.

It's client side.

The scoreboard is rendered entirely by the client. AMXX can touch some items, but cannot alter the way it looks

Thanks !
The way I understand is, I will have to write a AMXX plugin to constantly fetch the scoreboard and feed it to the application I am building outside the CS game.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Depending on what information you need, you can query the server instead

YamiKaitou what do you mean with touch some items? Such as name, kills, and death?

Yes, you can retrieve the client's name, kills, deaths, ping, and team

Oh, by using get_user_name, get_user_frags, and get_user_deaths? How to do it?

How to do what? Using those functions is trivial (aka read the documentation).
