It is possible through motd webpage loading with php script to overwrite file, but not sure how to do it

Yes, probably possible with weird method using MOTD (if still possible), but it's unreliable + slowhacking = not welcomed.

Why isnt it reliable? Slowhacking? Well, I can create a menu for a client, which will ask wherher client wants to download files or not..

php is server sided scripting, nothing is executed on web clients, so id say its not possible with php
