Hello

I'm running a srcds server under windows xp with Metamod:source 1.10.o dev and Sourcemode1.5.0 dev 3697 on my home pc. Because this is for my master-thesis i only have one person playing at a time at the same computer.

everything went (more or less) fine until monday the 3.12.2012. since then every time i try to start the server he stopps with "could not establish connection to steam servers". I can still connect via lan to the server but dont get anny weapons loadout. This is bad because i need the server to run the great items-plugin to modify the weapons of the players logging in to my server.

what i tried:
-updating MM and SM
-starting the server without MM and SM
-generating a new server id with steam cl_gameserver_create_identity
-updating the server with -verify_all and -retry

PLease help me locating the problem or (even better) solving it!

another problem (just for bonus points) is, if anybody knows a working bloodpatch for tf2 (since i'm in germany)

or if and how it is possible to set gibbing moddels with the whitelist. I downloaded the american modells and bloodsprays but can't get the server to use them instead of the german silly gibs.

For part 2: I don't know if it is still working... but starting steam, deleting the ClientRegistry.blob and then starting TF2 will work as bloodpatch. But I think the "silly gibs" fit the style of tf2
