    Cheats

This plugin started as a bugfix edit of Admin Cheats but turned into a complete rewrite. It forces the game to use Sourcemod command overrides instead of sv_cheats convar to determine who can access cheat commands. Now you can set exactly who can access which cheat commands. It also has customizable notification settings so you can observe how cheat command are being used.

    ConVars:
    • ftz_cheats_version: The version of cheats plugin. Default: "1.1".
    • ftz_cheats_notify_mode: Notification mode of usage of cheat commands. This is a bit string. Possible values:
1 - Notify invoking clients in chat about unsuccessful attempts.
      2 - Log unsuccessful attempts.
4 - Notify clients with ftz_cheats_notify access in chat about unsuccessful attempts.
8 - Notify invoking clients in chat about successful attempts.
      16 - Log successful attempts.
32 - Notify clients with ftz_cheats_notify access in chat about successful attempts.
      Default: 6.

    Overrides:
    • ftz_cheats: Gives access to all cheat commands.
    • ftz_cheats_notify: Clients with this override will receive notifications if it is set in ftz_cheats_notify_mode.
    • <Name of the cheat command>: You can set access to each cheat command separately. No limits.

    Compile requirements:
    Known issues:
    • None.

    Changelog:
    • 1.1 (14.09.2012): Rewrote all the logic to use Sourcemod overrides.

In CSS, you need to type 'rcon' in to use some of the cheat commands.

Which ones for example? I've only tested this plugin on l4d1 and every command except noclip worked and there's sm_noclip for that.

    ent_create, ent_fire, ent_setname, etc.

I had to log into rcon in order to use some of the ent_fire inputs. I would rather not have to do this if it can be avoided.

I also run Roll the Dice on my server and when players roll Earthquake, the chat is spammed with "has prevented player from running cheat command: shake". Is there anyway to block out that message when the plugin is triggering it?

I can expose the API to toggle stuff but other plugin developers will have to edit their plugins to be compatible with mine.

Would be great to autoblacklist all cheat cvars but be able to whitelist specific commands. There are some cheat protected cvars in CSGO for post processing and fog, I'd like to disable those on my server... is this the way to do it, or is there a better way?

    Thank you.
