If you're using Model Manager, you could always have the robots skins applied via it. FlaminSarge posted here on how to add the models to model manager. The downside is that it doesn't change the sounds.

This would be sweet as hell combined with Boss Battles. Is this something you'd consider combining after you wrap up BB1.3?

Alright, we just got updated! Now we need an updated version of this with the right sound files...

Thanks for making this epic plugin, and I hope it stays the same as it was before the bug-fixing update!

EDIT: I just tested the plugin, and the sound still works after the update! Even when I'm not on MVM maps! I also noticed that the server isn't crashing 5 minutes into the game. So valve did fix it! No problems with me anymore except that FF2 boss glitch, but that can easily be fixed by editing a line in the boss's CFG.

BE THE ROBOT 1.1
  • Added the Sentry Buster! (!buster, WIP)
  • Footstep sounds!
  • !betherobot and !berobot shortcuts
  • Switched use_valve_fs to true for the FileExists check
  • Fixed a server crash involving taunts that Sreaper reported
!buster defaults to the root flag, so only lower it if you don't mind your players messing with a beta feature.

Hey, I'm having problems making this for admin only. I put this into the admin_overrides.cfg:

"betherobot" "b"

But people can still use the command! How do I fix it so only admins can use it?

Buster worked once but now I keep getting the [SM] Transformation failed! error each time I try now. Even after rejoining it isn't working. What could cause a failed transform?

Edit: Nevermind I figured it out. You can't be a buster if you're currently using !robot. You need to be human then use it, was that on purpose?
