I don't think it would be related to NP++ itself. Did you try to use a provided plugins, most likely a problem with them ? What did you do exactly when it has crashed ?

Sometimes when you open the '(' of a function, it crashs.

Give me a reproducible way and will see what I can do. It may possible a problem in the API xml file or anything else.

If you still have issues then I would recommend that you install the original npp to see if it is specific to Arkshine's custom version. I've never used his version before but I do use the official version.
That's what I did man. and on the original it doesnt crash.

I meant that I was writing my code, you know like... writing an essay in school, or your usual school projects.

Writing: "public doStuf.." *BOOM* Notepad++ is not responding "report bugs" or "exit program".
with the original notepad++ it isn't crashing and running good, I use the C++ syntax because Arkshine's edition keeps crashing for me.

Just noticed there was a page 2....

Well, I am writing my code on Language "Pawn". First time when I did Copy + Paste program crashed. Well, I closed the "not responding" program and restart it, copy paste and then it worked. I typed my code for like 10 seconds, you know... creating publics, making variables. Then I remember I was in the middle of providing a paramater for a function and suddenly the NPP crashed, it was "not responding" and had 2 options: "Report bugs" or "exit program", ofcourse I would pick the button that is actually doing something and helping anyone, "exit button", and thats it.

Couldn't take the risk of losing my changes of code anymore so downloaded the original NPP and used C++ syntax

Were you using a specific a NP++ plugin, YES or NO, at this time ?

You can try to disable the auto-save plugin, to see if it helps.

Attach your plugin or send me to PM.

No man, all I did was using your installer and use the language "Pawn".

If you didn't notice I had edit my pervious post while you were looking at the un-edited one.

If using as it is, without enabling something specific, it should be reproducible. Send me your plugin so I can test what you have done.

And you can do what I said :

I'll try that later, but why do I need to send you my plugin? How is it going to help you? It's only text.
It's like as if I would spam your notepad with 6k lines of "BLA". Well, maybe its a function I wrote that made it crash since one of your features like auto-completion or w/e is working at that time, but it would really be hard for you to trace the crash cause just by looking at a 6k lines code.

Why can't you help the people trying to help you for once? If you don't want any more help and just want to use the Official Notepad++ (like me) then just say so.

My first question would be, "Why would you copy and paste anything? You should just open the file. Also, if you are worried about losing your code then you should make a backup of the file before you do each major revision.
