Hey everyone a friend was recently telling me about this epic map/mod so I got it for my server and it is a blast (still haven't told anyone about it so obviously the server is empty) but I was wondering is it possible to take a map and turn it into an actual mod so I can put it on other maps or is it possible to edit the map to get rid of some bugs and edit a few graphics to my liking?

Here is the map/mod link: http://www.gamebanana.com/tf2/maps/80450

Let me know, thank you!

It would be possible with coding but it would be just useless to code one and it wouldn't work very well. My advice is to just create a bunch of maps yourself with different pathways and different structures. You could decompile the map and edit the VMF file with Hammer and recompile it since that map was last modified 3 years ago.

Search for TF2 map decompiler and you might be able to find something.

Alright, I found the thing I was looking for, opened it in hammer editor and t'is really confusing. I was looking at the textures and they such bad quality. Is there a way I can upload a grass texture (.jpg or png) and have it remain 100% quality without making people lag badly?
