I have been having this crash problem on c5m5_bridge for god knows how long. It does not happen every time the map is played. I can replicate the crash many times but I cant figure out which plugin is causing it.

The crash always happens near the end of the 2nd round once a survivor triggers the chopper to start up. Right around there the server will crash. It never crashes the first time though. I always have to replay the map 2-3 times to replicate the crash.

I moved 5 plugins to the disabled folder and was able to play the map 4 times all the way through without a crash. The plugins I disabled were takeover.smx, l4d2_weaponunlock.smx, l4d_stats.smx, l4d2_guncontrol.smx, l4d2_fireworks.smx

So then I setup a map config and added these lines to it until i could do some further testing 1 plugin at a time.

sm plugins unload takeover.smx
sm plugins unload l4d2_weaponunlock.smx
sm plugins unload l4d_stats.smx
sm plugins unload l4d2_guncontrol.smx
sm plugins unload l4d2_fireworks.smx

The server still ended up crashing again right around the same spot on round 2.

Now I am at a loss.

Is there a difference between unloading the plugin on map start and having it already unloaded before the map starts?

you got far too many mods too, you can't expect your server to be stable with 65 mods. I guess this will be another case for atmoic/or mr zero to help you out

but my guess, plugin 63 is causing you issues on finale map triggering. I don't see why the plugins you removed would cause any issues
because none of them really touch finale triggering. it might just be a coinsendce that crashing stopped when you removed them. you should keep trying.

Well, if i remove c5m5_bridge my server wont crash at all. It has been full with 16 people for over 4 hours. There are a lot of plugins but most of them are just fixing things that valve broke.

Is there any difference between deleting plugins and unloading plugins at map start?

no, you got more custom/heavy(unneeded) plugins than you got bug fixing plugins (highly needed plugins). there's nothing wrong with that, but it's wrong saying that most of them are fixes to valve bugs, because atleast half of them aint.

did you try running c5m5 without plugin 63 as I told you to?

probably not, because a plugin that is unloaded by command is ment to be stopped. an unloaded plugin shouldn't work
until it's automaticly reloaded on the next map with other words.

Plugin 63 is a new plugin that atomic made to allow 1 survivor to hit the radio finale. This crash was present before I installed that plugin and many others.

Could it be more than one plugin causing the same crash? Its like right after the zombies spawn in front and right before the chopper starts spinning up.

Ill spend more time on it tomorrow morning when the server is empty.

the odds of 2 plugins causing the same crash? if the piece of code that is crashing your server exists in 2 plugins, it could be possible yes.

i'd remove the plugins you metioned (weaponunlock, stats, gcontrol, firework) and let the server run for atleast 2-3 days. is the crashing still present after that you should eliminate your plugins one until that crash is gone.

you should also ask the ppl you've been buying plugins from to take an extra look at their codes. just because you bought a plugin from a professional dosn't mean that it's 100 % bug free.
I remember myself a plugin that atomic tried to create for someone by PM. it was bugged, and he never solved it for the guy.
