Can we add a timer to this? so for example, every 30 minutes a certain page is displayed?

You sure can, you can use this plugin to do it. It works fine, just don't use quotation marks in the config.

Plugin works however does not play any sound if I open up a page ingame which has souund embedded Ive had the problem with the motd as well. however looking on a web browser, the sound does play!

Any ideas?

Any ideas?

The MOTD browser is pretty limited. The only way I know of to play sound in it is Flash.

Years ago when my old community was running, our MOTD did have sound and it was played ingame so I dont know whats happened since! And using web shortcuts, players could open pages which had sound played. But not now

AFAIK, the MOTD browser changed from IE-based to Webkit-based.
