It uses 99% of cpu only in insane mode! Just turn it off and you will have up to 1000 fps without high cpu usage.

make sure while installing centos you are pathching the kernel for RT. Or else you will not get 1000 fps.

Try first sys_ticrate set to 1000; if you will not get 1000 fps (server side), then try patching the kernel.
