How does the new infection method works?
Example #1
  • Modes: Only available on modes that are infectable.
  • Players: Player 1(Zombie), Player 2(Human)
  1. Player 1 attacks Player 2
  2. Instead of getting infected, he gets damaged
  3. When Player 2 is killed, he will be respawned(delay changeable by CVar) as a zombie at the same location he died.
Note: Last human will not be affected by this.

CVars
  • zp_infection_delay 5.0 - Delay before he respawned as zombie

Changelogs
  • 1.0.0 - Initial release

As long as it has the allow infect flag for the mode, yes

Will ammo packs be given?
Answer #2:
Yes, it works the same way as Zombie Plague.

Answer #3:
Adding more realism I guess? 1 slash on you and *poof*. IMMA ZOMBIE? No shit. Also, if humans are camping together one guy dies and give some time to the rest of the human to escape instead of chain infection which end up ending the game early.
