Well I think it's not possible, have you searched ? I know for sure this was discussed before.

The reason I think it's not possible, the M4A1 (and USP aswell) fire animations are duplicated to have and not have the silencer, if changing submodels were possible, they wouldn't need those additional animations and they would just toggle the silencer in place.
