If you read the function description you would see that it returns 1 if the string passed to it is a valid map name. Then you ask a simple fundamental question regarding checking the condition in an if-statement. If you really needed help with that then you have a lot of learning to do. I am a little taken back by your question though since I've seen you on these boards for quite some time now and it is assumed you would have at least the basics under your belt.

Its not a matter of not wanting to help, everyone that has replied in this thread are in scripting help, almost daily, willingly helping people with their problems. You need to take responsibility to try things yourself to see if they work. Higher level programmers/scripters on the forum that are trying something new/unknown and have problems do not, for the most part, resort to asking a question for every little thing that comes up. You first try yourself multiple times and search for a solution and then at last resort, for me atleast, post a question. You could have easily answered your own question with a simple client_print() or even searching the forum for someone elses code that also used the function.

If you're uncertain how some function works you can always search for it and see how everyone else has used it.
