Description:

• Due to the recent update made to Counter-Strike: Source, it is no longer possible to hold your fire button and continuously shoot the Awp or the Scout. To achieve this, you must quick switch to an alternate weapon then back to your sniper to continue firing. Most players do this anyways via binds, however, here's a plugin that forces a quick switch on anyone that fires the Awp or Scout.
• If there's any interest in this plugin I will develop it further, I only wrote it up because it was requested for a Scout 'n' Knives server. Possible updates include, but not limited to:
  • ClientPrefs support, so that clients can choose whether they want this feature enabled or not.
  • Additional weapon support, so that the Glock Burst-Fire functions properly.
  • Restrict feature to individuals with a specific flag.
  • Detect if a player doesn't have a knife and switch to another valid weapon if possible (I'm not sure why you'd need this though).
  • Returning to "Zoomed" status if the quick switch is activated (again, not sure why you would need it, but it'd be possible).

ConVars:

• css_quickswitch_enabled: Enables/disables all features of the plugin.
• css_quickswitch_scout: Enables/disable auto quick switching for the scout.
  
• css_quickswitch_awp: Enables/disable auto quick switching for the awp.

Neat idea. I think the glock's burst-fire also has the same issue after the update. I wonder if toggling the player's IN_ATTACK button would have the same effect.

I know that this is a bit too late but here you go; I was bored and decided to do this.
It now auto generates a config and also has the cvar css_quickswitch_flag which you can set to a flag such as b or even more than 1 flag (I think) such as ab.
If you don't want to use this flag system you can just set the cvar to 0.
