can you add a cvar to delete the connect message in the map change? if there're 8 players in the server and change map, appears the connect message of the 8 players, but they are already on the server

theres quite a few different ways you could make this happen.

LOL. sry Your plugin is great, i appreciate it either way. i also second the ability to add a 20 second timer to not display messages on round start, since like the guy a few posts above said, so it does not saturate the chat when all the players already know who was in the game. Like the join sounds timer.

but again, your plugins fine anyway without these features.

does this show regular players when am admin has connected or does admins only see that

depends on your .cfg file configuration. You can set it to display enhanced join messages for everyone, or for admins only.




How do i compile this Argh? so that way i can implement a way to make custom join messages replace the standard ones? This gives you more control over the outcome, as well as frees up chat space.

For instance, i could set a person to have a silent join, which is what i'd like for myself since i often spectate and mess with stuff in the background.

and it would allow you to change the join message and not have to be bothered with the default join message displaying as well...


it just makes a lot more sense to me.


EDIT: Alternatively, could you give me an idea of how to suppress ALL join messages? I looked at your suppress.sp but i'm not too certain about how it works.

This way, i can just write a simple add-on plugin, to add a command like sm_silentjoin <playername>

i have question about sm_ca_showenhancedadmins command

our server have admin 5-6 ppl if i just want set message_admin show just me how to do it

So i have problem i install the plugin but its does work , i try refresh it with command sm plugins refresh and thats say: L 07/28/2011 - 00:20:50: [SM] Unable to load plugin "cannounce.smx": Required extension "GeoIP" file("geoip.ext") not running, and i have the file geoip.ext... plz answer me thanks (:
