New suggestions:
[ ] Save stats after map change (ammo packs, classes, etc)
[ ] Light cycle (day-night effect)
[ ] Precache only a sky (players download all the other unncesary skies)
[ ] Infect last human
[ ] Grenade explode (make grenades take their default action along with the special ones - burn, freeze)
[ ] Read all the models from the class sma (seems that only the first models are put in the .ini class files)
[ ] Custom game mode by sub plugins support (and classes if possible)
[ ] Respawn if deathmatch enabled when joining a server (fix - hook joinclass command)
[ ] Human custom knife sounds
[ ] P_ model support
[ ] Last human pain shock free

I really like this idea, and the others can be done through sub-plugin.

Still it could be implemented to the main plugin since the suggestions would fit to the plugin.

Hey,
Add to the zombie plague deathmatch auto respawner so when a player connected on the server and he is dead he respawn automatically.

Something that would make this mod very cool could be to make it into a module and then add in the addon plugins. I say module because then this zombie mod could run as an engine to create zombie mods off of. Like, you have the standard modes, but adding new ones can be a bit difficult. Being able to pick and choose and add new ones in could be badass.

Well, you can look for command_survivor and command_nemesis functions in the SMA and comment out the "else" part, like this:
Code:
// New round?     if (g_newround)     {         // Set as first nemesis         remove_task(TASK_MAKEZOMBIE)         make_a_zombie(MODE_NEMESIS, player)     } /*     else     {         // Turn player into a Nemesis          zombieme(player, 0, 1, 0, 0)     } */

I actually hate myself for not coding it like that from the very start, lol. I didn't know much about plugin's API back at the time, so everything ended up becoming one big-ass SMA (and a lot of hardcoded features in it). But yeah, the best thing would be to have the entire plugin modularized, like:

(+) ZP Base Plugin (Engine)
|--> Game modes system
|--> Zombie classes system
|--> Extra items system
|--> Custom buy menus addon
|--> Custom flashlight/nightvision addons
|--> Custom grenades addons (napalms, frost nades, flares)
|--> Weapon's knockback addon
|--> Zombies long jump addon
|--> etc.

Not sure how much work it would take to do that though, I'll look into it.

Never too late to go back and redo the entire thing. I find that when I redo an entire mod, I always end up only making it better.

It might be better to make custom grenades addons as well. That way you could only use some, or alternate, like instead of napalms, a multi-exploding grenade.

I doubt it would take a year, I doubt it would even take a month. Maybe a week or two depending on the amount of time you want to put into it.

EDIT: If you wanted to recode the entire plugin into more of an engine, I'd be willing to help if you need me. I'm on summer break right now, so I'm looking into some new projects to make. I plan on cranking out at least 3-4 new mods this summer.

You look so free, Tirant! And yeah. If this is an module. Zombie Plague would be more faster ever!
