Edit the map to remove the map change functionality.

That is called intermission and the length is probably determined by mp_chattime.

I prefer not decompiling maps, recompiling them with no mapchange function because they are designed to be completed and then change. This doesnt happen on other servers so i dont know whats going on. Even if i did edit them and remove the mapchange, the players would be stuck in the map, especially if i wasnt there to change the map.

You could at least try and see how it's changing the map and maybe a solution can be found with that knowledge. I really don't know much about maps themselves so I'm not sure what exactly they are capable of.

I tried decompiling a map, to 'see how it works' but i cant get them to decompile correctly, alot of triggers/solids are missing, including the trigger to change the map.

EDIT: Okay guys, my friend tells me maps like infested2 and crisis 2 simply change to the next map in the mapcycle when the map is completed.

My friend made a test map and the same thing happens, when the map is ended, it simply restarts itself, i have no idea why. Could this be because i disabled all other map plugins except the galileo plugin for rtv. (it said all other map handling plugins had to be disabled in order for rtv to work.)?

EDIT 2:

Solved problem!

Simply re-enabled nextmap.amxx (Was disabled because i thought it would mess up RTV) and the problem went away!
RTV SEEMS to be working fine also.

But guys i got 1 more question, for my mapcycle.txt i have added alot of maps (in random order, except for series based maps...)
Now heres my question:

For series based maps, should i only add the FIRST map in the series? Or have all of them there incase a player wants to vote for a certain map in the series.

Heres a small chunk of my mapcycle.txt.

And please dont say 'Its up to you!' i would simply like an opinion from others...

sc_tetris2
sc_tetris3
sc_tetris4
sc_tetris5
sc_tetris6
toonrun1
toonrun2
toonrun3
sc_airbase
Zero
So for example should i just have sc_tetris1 instead of them all?

-Thanks.

Disable Galileo. Enable the default AMXX map plugins. Does it still happen? There's your answer.

only the maps that change the map directly without the intermission (score tab). but IMO keep the maps listed just in case.

Okay thanks for your opinion, anyone else want to share their own before i make a decision?

Edit: Made my decision, removed all series-based maps except for the 1st maps in series. (Example: sc_tetris1 remained whereas sc_tetris2 and sc_tetris3 were removed from the mapcycle) (Made a backup of mapcycle incase this happens to cause issues)
