Thanks for the answer. But this is (almost) quite obvious.
I just want to be sure that is really a bug.
Ok. Letīs wait!

you broke the sm_cheat command, it no longer functions with ent_fire ent_setname and prop_physics_create, as well as a few others I forgot, so I downgraded back to the last version because I need those commands way more then the new ones you've implemented

Used them right now, spawned 5 tanks, called the no mercy pilot and create one trash can, and all without sv_cheats enabled. I think you missed something on the syntax. Try:

sm_cheat "mycommand" "arguments" using the quotes

sm_cmdplayer is now FCVAR_SERVER_CAN_EXECUTE protected by valve

Wrong. It's the command you're using after sm_cmdplayer that is protected by valve If valve would protect that cvar,
the author would just rename it. And I'm happy they fixed it. Too many servers abused the l4d2.exe crash process and tried to overwrite people's
config files with some confogl shit and binding my keys

well you see, the prop_physics_create (gascan model name), it doesn't create it where you are pointing in the first place, which it used to, it just gives you the gascan in your hands. and no I didn't try sm_cheat "ent_fire" "blah" "blahblah", it worked without quotations last version so I figured I didn't need those. Besides I use a config file that I execute in game to rebind all my keys to run my custom game modes stuff. And as you probably know, since those commands apparently, according to you, require quotation marks to function, that is no good. You see in a config file you have to set all the binds up with quotations
something like this:
bind "k" "sm_cheat kill"
or bind "i" "sm_cheat ent_fire zoey sethealth 50"
If I do bind "i" "sm_cheat "ent_fire" "zoey sethealth 50"" it will confuse the hell out of it and the config will not work properly, I run lots of things with config files so....yeah if there is ANY possible way for you to set the sm_cheat command function completely back to the way it was before the sm_acidspill version update, I would greatly appreciate it if it isn't too much trouble. But until then I think I will stay with the older version for now, at least untill I find some other means of using cheats without cheats.

Thanks.

actually, incase you didn't know this, there is a pretty decent variety of commands to use on players, it's just that if it is too long it may require quotation marks, such as sm_cmdplayer David "say I'm fat and ugly"
or sm_cmdplayer David "+voicerecord;say LOL;disconnect;quit"
but if it is a simple short comand with no spaces it works like this
sm_cmdplayer David quit. And it works too. I just never thought of using quotations until like, 3 days after I got the plugin.

I have a thought about the gnome rain command. It is very expensive so you may want to create the gnomes as the prop_physics_multiplayer entities. If the Valve's description is correct, it will make their collision detection less expensive. Also there's a key value called "solid" which specifies type of collision detection used by an entity. I don't know is it available for the prop_physics_* entities (Hammer doesn't show it for them), but still it may be worth to try to change it to "2" (a cheap bounding box based collision detection). If I get enough time to test it myself, I will tell you if it helped.
