I need your extention for a certain plugin but I get this error:

Using the downloads marked as deprecated surely isn't going to get you anywhere.

From the current downloads, you want the one marked "SDKHooks 1.3 (OB Mods-ONLY [ZPS, AOC, PVKII, etc.])"

There may or may not be gamedata for synergy in the package.

BUG FOUND: Sometimes while restricting weapons in SDKHook_WeaponCanUse,SDKHook_WeaponSwitch for players, the View model dissappears from hands, I mean for example if I let players to use only grenade or knife, sometimes don't know how model dissapears from hands, please fix it
It's on CSS.

It's on CSS.
SDK Hooks just provides wrappers around Valve's functions, I highly doubt anything can be done about this.

pardon me for my nub question, does this work for alien swarm? would be real happy if ontakedamage is working for alien swarm...

Alien swarm wasn't released when the last update for this came out and the new gamedata doesn't include alien swarm. Hopefully someone will get around to writing the game data.

I believe the newer codebase for this that Tsunami was working on does support Alien Swarm. It might not have gamedata yet, but that's relatively trivial. The only caveat you'll have is that you likely want to hook damage on the marine, not the player. These are two separate entities in AS which effects many functions that would otherwise take a client/player. There's currently no exposed function to get a player's marine in SM, but you find the asw_marine_resource entities and look up each one's m_MarineEntity and m_Commander with GetEntPropEnt.

I will check with Tsunami when I can track him down and see if the newer codebase is functional and possibly do a real new release or have him do so if he wants to.

It would be really nice to do this right and have a single release package that works for all as the new code projects are set up with rather than seven different "sdkhooks.ext.dll" files floating around.

Thank you psychonic! hope to see the release soon but i heard there's a GetMarine() function that can get the marine that a player is controlling... but i do not know what is the exact parameters for the function... as seen from this website > https://bugs.alliedmods.net/show_bug.cgi?id=4530
