This plugin will allow players to get what ever melee weapon they want.

melee_announce "3" ; Default 3 ; Should the plugin advertise itself? 1 chat box message, 2 hint text message, 3 both, 0 for none.
melee_max "40" ; Default 40 ; How much times all players can get melee weapons per map
melee_playermax "10" ; Default 10 ; How much times one player can get melee weapons
You can change these commands in the auto generated l4d2_melee.cfg file
To do :
- Make plugin detect that the game is Left 4 Dead 2
- Add a cvar to enable/disable plugin
- To make a better description
- (maybe) Add a translation file
To enable every melee weapon on every OFFICIAL campaign download MeleeWeaponsUnlock.zip and extract it in for example :
steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/addons
